Our Impact
Through our efforts, we aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by this challenging disease. To date, The Will Hicks Charitable Association has raised over $265,000 for the American Brain Tumor Association.
ABTA Mission:
The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.
We do this through interactions and engagements with brain tumor patients and their families, collaborations with allied groups and organizations, and the funding of brain tumor research.
ABTA Commitments:• Increase research funding
• Improve the quality of information available to patients and their caregivers
• Boost the number of newly diagnosed patients who need information right away, so they can make informed treatment decisions
• Serve as the voice of the brain tumor community
