The Will Hicks Charitable Association was founded in 2010 after our beloved Will passed away after a 10 month battle with brain cancer. That following summer a group of his family and friends decided there was no better way to keep his legacy alive than to start a charitable organization in his name.
The WHCA is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goal of improving, extending and ultimately saving lives of those affected by a brain tumor diagnosis. Our mission is to support public charitable organizations that share our dedication to advancing the understanding of brain tumors. We are a registered 501(c)3 that proudly donates 100% of our proceeds to the American Brain Tumor Association.
Our main event each year is the Will Hicks Memorial Golf Tournament held each August around his birthday. Will was special guy, who above all else, treasured the relationships he had with his family and friends.
